TOURS DETAILS. Sammara Ecolodge Healing Retreat ,is a family company dedicated to perform customized tours base on a mínimum of 2 and a máximum of 10 people.

DAY 1 : we pick you up from Iquitos Airport or Hotel at 9:00 am.the we ride our van with destination bellavista NANAY port ,in order to take our speed boat and navegate the mighty amazon river ,so that we can make our first visit PAICHE breeding Pond at PEDRO FARM ,

where you Will have the chance to feed them with baits of small fishes.PAICHE is also known by ARAPAIMA GIGAS or PIRARUCU in brazilian side ,which is the largest fish of the fresh water in the world.beside that you Will take photos of the giant Lily pads known as VICTORIA

AMAZONICA and others animals such as amazon river turtles ,alligators and piranhas . Then we comeback to the speed boat to continue navegating down the amazon river with the second destination YAHUA TRIBE

, Currently, they live near the Amazon, Napo, Putumayo and Yavari rivers and their tributaries,their name come from two possible etymologies. yagua in Spanish means 'royal palm' this term could have been applied to the Yaguas by the Spanish explorers because much of the native clothing is made of palm fiber,Quechua would have been something like yawar runa, 'the blood-red people',is a likely possibility due to the Yagua custom of painting their faces with achiote, the blood red seeds of the annatto plant (Bixa orellana).

Our third stop Will be MONKEY ISLAND .monkey island is a sanctuary island and rescue center of more than 450 hectares ,located 30 km away from Iquitos in the amazon rainforest of Perú.this project rescues ,rehabilitates and reléases new world monkeys ,we believe in the freedom of animals,which should not be trapped in cages or be victims of illegal trade.

Your visit help us to contribute to the preservation of flora and fauna.

After visiting the monkey island we Will make our way back with destination to SAMMARA ECOLODGE,where you Will have lunch.

After having lunch ,we Will return To Iquitos ,along the boat ride ,you will have the opportunity to spot river dolphins such as Inia geoffrensis ,sotalia fluviatilis.and swim along them.

Your amazon voyage adventure Will end up around 4:30 pm.dropping you off at your hotel or airport.
